Big Management Shake Up in Progress at Viacom
SCOTT MILLS, THE FORMER CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER OF BET POISED FOR NUMBER TWO SPOT UNDER CEO BOB BAKISH
Viacom CEO Bob Bakish won over Wall Street and Viacom's board with his new turnaround plan for the sluggish media company. Now he's about to ensure that that plan is implemented properly by making some big changes to his leadership team. The individual expected to land the biggest promotion is Scott Mills who in 2012 became Viacom's executive VP of human resources following a stint as COO of Viacom cable network BET. Mills is a low key in the trenches executive who knows his way around the company and clearly won the confidence of Mr. Bakish and the board.
“They’re already making plans for the organization reporting to him. People are beginning to know”[NY Post]
