Meredith Ups Distribution of New Lifestyle Magazine 'The Magnolia Journal' By 50 Percent, Bringing Print Total to 1 Million

Fixer Upper stars turned lifestyle/media moguls Chip and Joanna Gaines are on top at the moment. Not only does the couple and parents of 4 have the hottest selling book in the country, their new magazine which is produced by Meredith, is also flying off the shelves prompting Meredith to up the distribution by 50%, to 600,000 copies which brings the total printed for the debut issue to 1 million copies. It was just two weeks ago that the magazine hit newsstands. Only time will tell if this momentum will continue into future issues. It is also not known if the couple will be able to promote the publication on their HGTV show 'Fixer Upper'. HGTV produces its own magazine in partnership with Hearst Magazines.
