DailyMail.com has installed Alicia Muntzner as its new U.S. revenue chief. Ms. Muntzner joins from The Weather Channel where she was SVP of ad sales. For now she has no clear plans on how she will approach the new gig, at least not publicly. Instead she would like to start the new job first before announcing any new initiatives. Makes sense to us.
Muntzner, who takes her post on Monday, will report to DailyMail.com CEO and publisher Martin Clarke. She will focus on strengthening relationships and partnerships within the media world to capitalize on the site's 80 million monthly unique views, a number that puts it in the top 50 U.S. digital media properties, according to comScore.more»
