NEW VANITY FAIR PUBLISHER CHRIS MITCHELL (L) AND NEW GQ PUBLISHER HOWARD MITTMAN |
Conde Nast's powerful President, Bob Sauerberg continues to re-shape the company's mastheads. Mr. Sauerberg named GQ publisher Chris Mitchell as the new Publisher of Vanity Fair, which was vacated by Edward Menicheschi
who now serves as President and Chief Marketing Officer of the Conde Nast Media Group. To replace Mr. Mitchell at GQ, Mr. Sauerberg named Wired publisher Howard Mittman to the GQ spot.
Condé Nast, striving to find ways to wring more revenue from its digital
side, recently launched new digital channels for the New Yorker, Lucky
and Bon Appétit — but the printed pages are still the company’s bread
and butter and main revenue driver.
