As the bidding process for Time Inc draws closer to the end, it is believed that Iowa based Meredith Corp which tried and failed 3 years ago to buy Time Inc is the front-runner and may end up the victor. Time Inc is said to be seeking $2+ billion for the entire company. So if Meredith is looking good right now, then they are obviously meeting that asking price. But nothing is a done deal until Time Inc's board accepts an offer and agreements are signed. In other words this thing is still wide open and some dark horse could swoop in and knock everyone else out of the race. Also, Time Inc is believed to be open to extending the bidding process if asked. Who will walk away with the keys to one of the world's most storied media companies that houses some of the world's leading media brands? Lets see.
