Recent reports put Janice Min who announced she is stepping down as President and Chief Creative Officer of Billboard and Hollywood Reporter magazines at Conde Nast headquarters. Well we may finally know why as Dylan Byers reports that Conde Nast entered into negotiations with Billboard/Hollywood Reporter parent company Eldridge Industries several months back to buy the publications but Conde Nast was frozen in its efforts after Eldridge dropped a big price tag in front of them. Did we mention that Janice Min stepped down from her role to work for the parent company leading media investment strategy? That means she may be getting ready to re-open talks between the two companies. But there may be a conflict as Janice Min owns a nice chunk of Hollywood Reporter and would benefit from any sale. Then again who are we kidding. Nobody cares about conflicts of interests anymore.
