Time Inc Gets Much Needed Boost From Activist Investor, But There Could Be Something Else at Play Here

Time Inc's sloggy stock got a 5.6% shot in the arm yesterday thanks to activist investor Barry Rosenstein's Jana Partners which scooped up 4.99 million shares for a cool $62 million easing some pressure following the company's dismal 2016 revenue forecast. However, even with the bump, the company' stock is still down some 33%.  At some point, investors will get hungry for changes at the company from the top down and some are wondering if this stock buy is a prelude to chants for change.
