New Travel + Leisure Editor Nathan Lump, Firing Everyone at The Magazine to Make Room for a Team of Loyals

Mr. Lump rejoined the magazine back in August

Nathan Lump who came back to takeover as Editor in Chief of Travel + Leisure, is wasting no time swinging the axe to make room for his handpicked team. It is believed Mr. Lump rolled 5 heads, but don't read too much into it because like a Time Inc spokeswoman said, its all normal for a new leader to come in and clean house to put his/her team in place. This is true. Whether or not more heads will roll is not yet known. But chances are a few more will.
“Nathan is redefining the roles of his team. (It is entirely normal for a new manager to put his/her own team in place, one that can and will deliver to their vision.) These changes are a reflection of Nathan’s vision and ambition for the brand. Those executives that are leaving have done an exceptional job for T+L and we are deeply appreciative of their contributions to the brand during their tenure. But change is inevitable.”
