GQ's Digital Team is Getting All Beefy, Ups Ball
Everyone's been building up their digital army to hold on to, or grab their slice of the relevant pie. The latest to do this is non other than the mighty GQ.com. The website is planning a major expansion and overhaul and has placed Sarah Ball in the roll of executive digital editor, which means she's basically the boss, at least on the digital editorial side of things. GQ says it will roll out a new bigger website in the fall (so far away). Ms. Ball once worked on sister/rival site Vanityfair.com before joining GQ as Senior Editor earlier this year.

“Sarah’s appointment comes on the heels of a handful of exciting new announcements for GQ.com,” said editor in chief Jim Nelson. “I look forward to seeing her exercise her great taste and editorial judgment as we grow the site over the next few months.”
