-YOSH CNN's straight from the hip anchor, Lou Dobbs is taking it to the radio airwaves with a new 3 hour talk show syndicated by United Stations Radio Network. Funny, we always saw Lou as a satellite radio kinda guy. Deirdre Imus to public: Threaten my husband's life instead

-SDH In what could be labeled one of the dumbest moments to come out of the whole Don Imus thing, his wife Deirdre was interviewed on air via telephone where she proceeded to urge those sending death threats to the Rutgers women's basketball team to send them to her husband instead. So if something happens to old Don, will she be held accountable? Isn’t she inviting possible harm to her husband? Is there a lawyer in the house? "He feels awful," she said. "He asked them, 'I want to know the pain I caused, and I want to know how to fix this and change this."' "I have to say that these women are unbelievably courageous and beautiful women," she said. Deirdre Imus also said that the Rutgers players have been receiving hate e-mail, and she demanded that it stop. She told listeners "if you must send e-mail, send it to my husband," not the team. Clear Channel's Mays family attempting a Dolan

The Mays family which controls the nation's biggest radio broadcaster, Clear Channel is hoping that their takeover offer is approved by the board and other investors. However the Mays' goal to take the company private could fall flat. Bank of America analyst Jonathan Jacoby recently raised his rating on Clear Channel, citing the likelihood that shareholders will reject the deal even if the buyers raise their offer by $1 a share. Judge tells Stephen L. Green he can have Air America Radio

New York real estate mogul Stephen L. Green got the all go from a judge to buy himself a late Christmas gift. Green will drop $4.28 million for bankrupt Air America Radio. The approval comes just as Air America, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in October last year, had run out of money and exhausted its court-sanctioned borrowing authority, lawyers for the radio venture said.Without the sale's immediate approval or a further extension of its borrowing authority, the radio network would have been forced off the air, its lawyers warned.
