Vice Media which acquired a majority stake in Dasha Zhukova’s art, culture and fashion title Garage Magazine has installed a new editor in chief for the publication. Vogue Magazine’s arts editor Mark Guiducci will take the helm taking over from Thessaly La Force who held the role for less than a year before bolting to New York Times’ T Magazine according to WWD.
Said Mr. Guiducci:
After more than seven years at Condé Nast, I’m thrilled to start my next chapter at Vice, as editor in chief of Garage. I look forward to reimagining the biannual magazine with full-scale digital editorial launching in October. I’m so grateful to Anna Wintour for her mentorship and support in my next step.
Though Garage has already released its first issue under the Vice Media umbrella, the magazine’s website has been down for a few weeks now as it is being weaved into the bigger Vice.com.
