Back in April it was announced that Conde Nast was taking a page of the Hearst Magazines playbook and joining forces with actress Gwyneth Paltrow to launch a print edition of Goop named for the actress’ popular lifestyle and wellness website. Well its five months later and we’re getting the first look of the debut issue of Goop and naturally Gwyneth Paltrow, founder and CEO of Goop is on the cover covered in mud with the headline “Earth to Gwyneth”. The deal to produce a magazine around the Goop brand was initiated by Conde Nast’s artistic director Anna Wintour. Goop is a quarterly magazine and hits newsstands on September 19. It will also be for sale via Goop.com.
