James Fallon who has been editor in chief of Women’s Wear Daily for 16 years, is taking full editorial control of all the brands under the Fairchild Fashion Media (FFM) division of Penske Media as editorial director. Mr. Fallon will now have editorial oversight of brands such as WWD, FN, Beauty Inc, Fairchild Live Media as well as future FFM brands.
Said Mr. Penkse Media boss Jay Penske:
For over three decades, Jim has been an outstanding journalist and an essential leader in the newsroom who so clearly embodies the class, intelligence and sharp news sense that the Fairchild and WWD brands embody. We are so pleased to have Jim steer both the Fairchild legacy and our ascending brands as they continue to innovate across all platforms.
