Howard Mittman who’s departure was announced just last week by Conde Nast business Chief Jim Norton is joining TimeWarner’s Bleacher Report as the website’s Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer. Mr. Mittman was the Chief Business Officer for Conde Nast’s men’s group which included GQ, Ars Technica, Backchannel, Golf World, GQStyle, Wired, Pitchfork, and Golf Digest. Mr. Mittman’s departure from Conde Nast comes as alleged frustration and unease at Conde Nast continues to grow with Jim Norton in the middle of it all. However like we said before there is no indication that Mr. Mittman’s departure had anything to do with those alleged situations.
Said Mittman on joining Bleacher Report:
