Taking a page out of Meredith and Hearst Magazine’s playbook, Conde Nast is buddying up with actress turned health and wellness maven Gwyneth Paltrow to bring her popular website Goop to the print pages of a magazine. Conde Nast will publish a quarterly print magazine called Goop. The idea for bringing Goop to print was cooked up during a conversation between Conde Nast artistic director Anna Wintour and her friend Gwyneth Paltrow and the rest as they say is about to be history. The magazine is scheduled to land at newsstands in September. No word yet on who will lead the new publication as editor in chief.
Said Anna Wintour:
“I’ve long known Gwyneth to have wonderful taste and vision — but with Goop she has built something remarkable, a thoroughly modern take on how we live today. Goop and Condé Nast are natural partners and I’m excited she’s bringing her point of view to the company. We all look forward to working with her and her team,”
