Ariel Foxman the former editorial director at Time Inc’s InStyle magazine has landed on his feet in a new gig. One would think he would end up at another fashion magazine but no, Mr. Foxman is taking a page out of the books of other former magazine editors like Eva Chen and Linda Wells and going at fashion from the other side. Mr. Foxman has joined the board of GLAAD where he will serve as the official liaison between the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender advocacy group and the fashion industry which he knows well through his many years at InStyle, Details and as founding editor of men’s shopping/style guide Cargo magazine at Conde Nast.
Said Mr. Foxman:
“I just want GLAAD to get their message out.I really believe the bedrock of long-term change and policy that assures life for everybody is the attitude and the learning that people have toward the community.”
