Following behind news that Conde Nast has pulled the plug on Self Magazine’s print product, Bloomberg Media is also pulling the plug on one of its print magazines, the luxury lifestyle title ‘Bloomberg Pursuits’. The magazine which was distributed exclusively to Bloomberg terminal subscribers has already released its final issue, the current December issue. Pursuits will now be a digital first product and continue to live online on Bloomberg.com. This follows earlier news out of Bloomberg about major changes in the works for another print title Bloomberg Businessweek. The company replaced the magazine’s editor and promises a brand new magazine in the new year.
“We’re deliberately shifting Bloomberg Pursuits to a digital-first brand for our audience of global business decision-makers, which will include a continued commitment to luxury content that will appear across our multiple platforms,” a Bloomberg spokesperson said in a statement.
