Some publishers who jumped on Facebook Live are still waiting to see how the social media/tech giant will allow them to monetize the live streaming feature. But not Time Inc. The publishing/media giant has been utilizing its ‘Social Now’ ad product to help brands tap into its live audiences. All brands need to do is purchase a package from Time Inc. The company guarantees performance.
Said Ben Kaplan, executive director of ad products and operations at Time Inc:
“We look around at the industry and see a lot of publishers waiting to see what will be rolled out from a platform perspective, whether it be mid-roll or something else.”
