Newly installed Time Inc CEO Rich Battista continues to put in place his dream team at the 93 year old publishing company. Mr. Battista is slowly dismantling the leadership team put together by former CEO Joe Ripp when he took over back in 2013 and putting in place individuals to help him accelerate the company’s digital transformation. One of Mr. Ripp’s biggest appointments when he took over back in 2013 was CFO Jeff Bairstow. Well, Mr. Bairstow is now on his way out as Mr. Battista is replacing him with company Controller Sue D’Emic who takes over on November 7, 2016. Bairstow will remain on Time Inc’s payroll as an advisor until March 1, 2017 when he will officially be done. In addition to the announcement of Mr. Bairstow’s departure, the company also announced three promotions.
-Erik Moreno, currently EVP, Business Development, is becoming EVP and
President, Corporate Development, New Ventures & Investments
-Greg Giangrande, EVP and Chief Human Resources Officer, will take on the
additional role of Chief Communications Officer, overseeing Corporate
Communications and Media Relations, Employee Communications and
Corporate Social Responsibility
-Jaison Blair, currently SVP, Investor Relations and Corporate
Communications, is becoming SVP, Investor Relations, Finance &
