Time Inc customers will soon have apple pay across brands like Sports Illustrated, Entertainment Weekly, People and Real Simple. This is the first step towards an increase in e-commerce offerings being lead by COO Jen Wong. The company plans to sell additional products and services via Apple Pay which is known for its one touch payment capability.
“Offering Apple Pay as a checkout option for our products and services provides an easier, frictionless purchase experience for existing and new customers,” said Jen Wong, COO of Time Inc. “As consumers continue to engage with us more heavily on mobile, Apple Pay equips us with a seamless way to deliver core and new paid products and services to them.”
