Time Inc Installs Harper’s Bazaar's Laura Brown as Editor in Chief of InStyle

OK so our hunch didn't pan out about who would lead the editorial charge at Time Inc's InStyle magazine. Today the company announced that Harper's Bazaar's Laura Brown will join the magazine as its new Editor in Chief at the end of the month, putting to bed all the speculation about who would land the gig. Ms. Brown wasn't the only one vetted for the post. TheCut.com's Stella Bugbee was apparently also in the running, but Time Inc settled on Ms. Brown.

There are so many exciting opportunities to grow the brand across all platforms. I can’t wait to get started.”
