Quartz Rolls Out New Custom Video Ad Unit With Lincoln Motor Company as Launch Partner

Atlantic Media's Quartz business website is upping the video ad game with a new custom built video ad unit six months after bringing on its first video producer. The QZ team has been hard at work developing the new ad unit with the goal of being elegant, unobtrusive, user-initiated, visually arresting and enjoyable for users to interact with.

Said Kevin Delaney, Quartz's editor-in-chief and president:
We believe that respecting our users and their time means not placing 15- or 30-second pre-rolls in front of videos. We’d prefer to do the hard work of tackling the creative and business challenges of inventing non-preroll forms of sponsorship that maximize both user satisfaction and revenue.
