2007: A look back at some of the hottest topics here on Media Wire Daily Dot Com

Published: Wednesday, December 26, 2007

-MEDIA WIRE DAILY

2007 was the year we took no prisoners. We called out the dick heads, the gas bags and said the things, mainstream media was too punk to say about big media execs, their plastic wives and sometimes even their employees. Germans invaded Long Island, and slaughtered many, who were sometimes naive to the fact that they were about to be victims of a bloodbath. We got emails from people at Dow Jones and Yahoo! either correcting us on a post or asking us to reveal sources (As if). Even the now former managing editor of a popular so called media blog emailed us asking why we said the things we said about his site. For us, 2007 was the year we found our voice, and made some cool friends and even cooler enemies along the way. For 2008, our voice will hopefully get stronger as people learn to swallow the truth when we spit it. To our subscribers, we love you. Sometimes we get so tempted to email some of you just to say we can't believe you read our little blog but we pass because we don't want to freak you out and you end up canceling on us. Even when we said fuck it and came close to quitting, you asked us to stick around because we go good with your cup of Joe in the morning. Here are some of our biggest topics of 2007:

COMPANIES:

BERTELSMAN/BOOKSPAN
TIME WARNER
VIACOM
NBC UNIVERSAL
NEWS CORP

PEOPLE:

DICK PARSONS
JEFF BEWKES
DAVID PECKER
ANN MOORE
LES MOONVES
KURT EICHENWALD
TOM FRESTON
SUMNER REDSTONE
JEFF ZUCKER
RUPERT MURDOCH
