The Folio 40 under and over 40

Most magazines today have a list where they stroke the egos of the very people they cover in their pages and Folio Magazine is no exception. The magazine industry magazine (yeah we know) rolled out their list of the 40 what they call best of the best that the industry has to offer. The list includes some known knowns and some known unknowns. Our favorite part of the list is the “Ones to watch” portion which has Mary Berner on top, not that the order in which they are listed means anything, well at least we don’t think so. The list doesn’t only include people it also includes publications and companies as well. Like for example Conde Nast’s soon to be launched business title Portfolio is included on this list with the question: Will the title stay strictly business-focused, as Conde Nast claims, or will it veer into the lifestyle category?
