Since its launch and rise, Youtube has caused quite a bit of noise in the media industry. Traditional media companies have voiced their opinions about the site and its lack of respect for copyrighted content leading many of them to take action in their own way. Some have gotten in bed with them, some are planning to get in bed with them, some are taking legal action and some are going up against them.
