-Shomari Hines The board of the New York Times sent out an unusual invitation to some critics of the company to come make presentations to them back on February 22. Not sure what the presentations were on but it may have been related to improving the company's behavior on Wall Street.The board invited Morgan Stanley money manager Hassan Elmasry and another large shareholder, T. Rowe Price Group Inc., to make presentations to its board on February 22, the spokeswoman confirmed. The board extended the invitation even though the company and its controlling Ochs-Sulzberger family have repeatedly rebuffed Elmasry. Newspaper wars, gotta love em.
