Primedia wants to sell off more of its boring magazines

The folks at Primedia wants out of boredom and is said to be eyeing a sale of their Enthusiast Media segment, which includes 70 publications and 90 Web sites. That's like a small company within itself. CEO Dean Nelson tells us why and also says there may be more to come in the future.

"The board believes the market environment is extremely favorable for the sale of PEM," said Dean Nelson, Primedia's chief executive, in a statement. Nelson also said that spinning off the company's Consumer Source division remains an option.
