Les's star just keeps shining

Les Moonves's CBS Corp continues to behave well taking home yet another good report card to grandpa Sumner. CBS is now on it's fourth increase since splitting from sister company Viacom and we see a fifth in the near future. Wouldn't some Moonves love do Viacom well? The CBS Corporation swung to a profit in the fourth quarter, the media company said yesterday. In the period a year ago the company reported a big loss, partly because of a major charge to write down the value of its television and radio businesses. The chief executive, Leslie Moonves, told analysts that he would continue to make small investments in new media, but that he believed in the long-term growth of the company’s core television, radio and outdoor advertising units.
