Red Herring's annual “Top 25 under 35” list features, well, the top 25 under 35 entrepreneurs who will set " the global technology agenda" We only hope these young entrepreneurs are not scary looking like the young entrepreneurs featured on Businessweek's list.Red Herring’s reporters thought long and hard about the most interesting and compelling young innovators they have encountered this year. In cover story “Titans in Waiting,” you will read about Elizabeth Holmes, who dropped out of Stanford University at age 19 and launched a startup that developed a monitoring system for tracking a person’s blood status remotely. And then there is Weina Scott, a 17-year-old CEO who already has three successful startups under her belt, and Olaf Stiller, whose plan for people to freeze their own stem cells aims to provide them restorative power to combat aging later in life. In terms of companies, seven in this year’s roundup occupied the Internet space; there were four companies in software, two each biotech, venture capital, and wireless—and there were one each in the solar, medical device, nanotech, and telecom segments.
