Mayor Parsons still has a nice ring to it

It seems as though Time Warner boss Dick Parsons is keeping all his options on the table for when he leaves Time Warner. Clearly one of those options is running for Mayor of NYC. In the past we have cheered Dick on to make the move and then it died down until the question was raised again at the Reuters Media Summit .“This has been my either fate or challenge for 30 years ever since I got out of government,” said Mr. Parsons, 58, who was counsel for Nelson A. Rockefeller when Mr. Rockefeller was governor of New York and when he was vice president, and a senior White House aide under President Gerald R. Ford before going into business. “Everybody’s speculating, ‘He’s just hanging around, waiting for his moment.’ Currently I don’t have any plans to do that.” Hey Dick you already have a good mouthpiece for City Hall in Edward I.
