King Rupe loves the newspaper business so much he bought two more

Apparently Rupert Murdoch still has great love for the business which is Newscorp's foundation......The newspaper business. King Rupe is said to have bagged two more to add to his already crowded stable which includes the daily tabloid the NY Post. With the move, News Corporation is increasing its reach to the boroughs outside Manhattan and the minority populations that have been strongholds of its main competitor, The Daily News. While the price of the acquisition was not disclosed, someone close to the deal but not authorized to speak about the matter said News Corporation paid $16 million for the two operations: the TimesLedger and Courier-Life newspaper groups.
