![]() The FCC must be in need of cash because they are requesting archived tapes of broadcasts from networks so they can have their goons comb through each one for vulgar remarks from unruly spectators, coaches and athletes at live sporting events. "It looks like they want to end live broadcast TV," said one executive, who spoke only on the condition of anonymity. "We already know that they aren't afraid to go after news." Indeed it does seem that way. What a world we would live in if our nightly news was taped in advance. It would be old news by the time we see it and all the major networks would tank due to lack of advertising.
