iVillage gives new moms something to pay for

As if they really do need more expense after having a baby, iVillage which recently got snatched up by NBC Universal has launched a new channel for expectant and new mothers dubbed Pregnancy & Baby Plus.The subscription-based offering, available at ivillage.com/pbplus for $24 a year, features both text and video content geared to pregnant women and new moms. The channel's multimedia content represents an amalgamation of video from the in-hospital satellite network the Newborn Channel, along with articles from BabySteps magazine and existing iVillage channels.
