Thanks to our ever growing need for the latest gossip and snapshots of the stars we love to hate and weekly tabloids are kicking ass. The circulation of US Weekly, climbed 12.7 percent, to 1,662,000, in the last six months of 2005, from 1,475,000 a year earlier. In Touch rose 15.5 percent, to 1,178,000. And Star magazine climbed 12.3 percent, to 1,460,000. [nyt] |
