Kargo vs. Cargo

Published: Thursday, February 23, 2006

Mobile entertainment company Kargo Global has filed a complaint against Condé Nast, publisher of men's monthly Cargo, for trademark infringement in a federal court of the Southern District of New York.

"Use of the mark Cargo by Advance in the field of wireless connectivity is likely to cause further confusion, cause mistakes or deceive the public, and cause the public to believe that the goods and services sold under the mark Cargo emanate from or are otherwise sponsored or endorsed by Kargo," the suit said.
